Who is Shannon?

Hiya, I’m Shannon, and I live in Ringwood, between the New Forest and Dorset, with my partner and our 1-year-old daughter.

Becoming a mother was the most powerful, transformative shift of my life – it changed everything I thought I knew about myself. I used to believe I wasn’t a “maternal person,” but motherhood showed me otherwise.

The care I received early postpartum had a huge impact on me, I experienced first hand how the right support can transform those overwhelming early weeks into something much more gentle and connected.

Through my own experience, I felt a pull towards the birth world and a deep desire to support other women in the same way – to help them feel held, seen, and celebrated.

I trained with Nurturing Birth, and I’m also a volunteer breastfeeding peer supporter – you’ll find me at Boston Tea Party Ringwood on Monday mornings!

I’ll support you emotionally and practically to prepare for birth, find your rhythm postpartum, and make informed decisions that feel right for you. I’ll be by your side, holding space with zero judgement and helping you trust yourself every step of the way.

I love to chat, I’m a real social butterfly. Any chance to hang out? I’m there, usually with a decaf coffee in hand (or a glass of wine, depending on the vibe). I’m here for honest conversations, meaningful connection, and the kind of laughter that makes the day feel lighter.
